3/7 (Fri.)- The "drivers" (4) that are hauling the tools and materials will be leaving early Friday. Pray for safe travels for Chloe, Ray, Gary & Colley.
3/8 (Sat.) - The “flyers” (10) will leave Saturday and the two groups join together Saturday evening in Mississippi. The flyers are: Chris K., Barry, Connie, Bill, Mel, Terri, Chris P., Bernell, Dave & Rox.
3/9 (Sun.) - We will attend worship Sunday morning and go to New Orleans for some site seeing and dinner.
3/10 (Mon.) - Our work details will be assigned after orientation and then we'll head to the job sites. Pray that our hearts are receptive to the Lords leading with fellow team members and those we will be serving.
3/11 (Tues.) - Pray that we recognize opportunities to share the love of Christ as we listen to the stories of those who were affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Pray for safety on our job sites.
3/12 (Wed.) - Pray that our eyes are open to God’s majesty in the midst of the devastation still apparent around us. Pray that we are bold in our testimony – not only with our actions but with our words also. And pray that we find joy in every nail, every drop of paint, and every meal prepared as we work hard this week.
3/13 (Thurs) - Pray for our families that will be taking care of everything back here at home. Pray that the team humbly accepts this trip as a gift from God … an opportunity to be His hands and feet … and not take it for granted.
3/14 (Fri.) - We will work hard and finish up on our work sites today. Pray for a restful night of sleep.God designed us to make a difference with our lives. As we wrap up the week, pray that we are at peace knowing we gave God the best we had to offer.
3/15 (Sat.) - The drivers pull out at the crack of dawn and arrive back in York Sunday evening. The “flyers” will leave early as well and arrive back in Red Lion Saturday evening.
Thank you for your prayers and support! This trip would not have been possible without all our ministry partners here at home.
